Eligibility for Participation
Applicants to the India Innovation Initiative challenge must meet the below eligibility criteria:
- Indian citizens who are the age of 18 years and above, can register and apply as individual or as team (max. 4 persons per team) entries.
- The applicant must have a prototype (working model/software/simulation) or proof of concept or that is demonstrable.
- The Proof of Concept (POC) should consist of 10-15 slides (max) in a PowerPoint presentation and showcase the applicants’ innovation, products, technology that they have developed and plan to commercialize. POC is basically a tool to verify the concepts or theories that have been applied in the innovation having the potential for real-world application to determine feasibility.
- Innovations would be evaluated, shortlisted and recognized at the individual level. Recognition will not be given to the company/institution/organization/trust/society the individual innovator(s) is currently working for, owning, heading or employed in.
